Job description
The jobholder is responsible to assist the Quality Specialist in the daily functions of the department to ensure proper control over the work procedures of the departments.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Coordinate with Department Heads in preparing and improving the department work procedures in all areas of EKFC as required.
- Conduct internal quality audits to determine the effectiveness of the procedures, raise non-conformance report and follow up on any corrective action.
- Conduct quality audits of suppliers and provide audit reports. Review and recommend improvements in the work procedures and Quality Manual.
- Carry out QMS Performance Measurement and produce and statistical analysis.
- Conduct spot inspections of departments and provide assessment reports with recommendations.
- Comply with the Company Occupational Health and Safety Policies.
- Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001: 2008 international standards and executes all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Higher Secondary Certificate Qualification or Diploma holder in relevant discipline.
- Working knowledge on Quality Management Systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and capable to coordinate with different levels of management and personnel.
- Ability to work and perform under significant pressure in a 24×7 working environment.
- Able to analyse and present data statistically.
- Certification in Quality Management System.
- Knowledge of QMS ISO 9001:2008 standards, EMS and food safety management Standards
- Experience in food industry
- Positive attitude and ability to be a good team player.
- A proactive, problem solving approach to situations.
- An aptitude for conducting checks with attention to detail.
- A keen desire to learn, propose solutions for improvement and be self-driven.
