Job description
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Check the conformity of the scopes and specifications of all the Contracts with the Client’s requirements; ensure there is no duplication of scope between contracts.
- Identify, negotiate and agree the clear scope & performance specification of works/services of various parties and include into their Contracts.
- Eliminate conflict between Contract documents by effective management, analysis and co-ordination.
- Manage and control issues associated with pre/post contracts administration including variation, claims and dispute management.
- Provide interpretation, guidance and risk assessment to the Employer and Management on contractual matters.
- Review and manage contractual obligations between the Employer, the specialist Consultants, the Contractors, other Government agencies and third party stakeholders and provide continual analysis to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum of 20 years’ experience in the pre-contract and post-contract procurement of marine/port projects. Should possess versatile experience in preparing contract proposals, monitoring project progress and dealing with clients, government agencies and contractors, and shall possess strong knowledge on FIDIC Conditions of Contracts and Subcontract.
