Operations Manager

Job description

Responsible for handling the activities of Inside Sales for Jebel Ali Aftermarket division reporting to Regional Sales and Operations Manager Jebel Ali FZE. Specific duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Oversee and supervise quotations, proposals, tenders for multiple products for Middle East Region for AFM range of products as well as for the V&M products in stock at Jebel Ali.
* Quote for packages involving actuated valves by obtaining offers from Actuator manufacturers.
* Communicate/Coordinate with factories/Engineering dept to determine lead times/ obtain technical clarifications.
* Communicate with clients/Distributors with regard to the needs of all proposals such as due dates, revisions of quotes technical modifications etc.
* Maintain Quotations Log and update it regularly.
* Coordinate with Jebel Ali staff regarding placement of orders on to the Cameron manufacturing plants.
* Provide Technical/Logistics support to agents for our products.
* Provide weekly/monthly reports related to major inquiries received/ offers submitted/ orders received.
Manage the team HSE activities on a regular basis ensuring that targets are met on a regular basis

Minimum Job Qualifications

* Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering
* 3 plus years of Inside sales experience in Valves.
* Experience of handling customers in Middle East is desirable.
* Knowledge of Valve applications/actuation packages.
* Proficient with Microsoft office applications.
* Excellent Customer relations skills.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Ability to multi task.
* Ability to focus and pay attention to detail and accuracy in work produced is essential
* Good organizational skills.
* Experience with SAP a plus.
