SENIOR PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

The company shall identify, invest, build and develop a broad-range of intermediate and downstream industrial projects. The company projects will assist in transforming Qatar’s business community into manufacturing and industrial clusters; producing a wide range of products, destined for local, regional and global markets.

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible to deliver the analysis for the investment performance and strategic / operational KPI’s of the subsidiary companies, JV’s projects set up by the company through a timely performance reporting process. Develop the necessary strategic, operational and financial performance indicators and provide analysis and recommendations through data driven research

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or Business Administration with specialization in Finance / Accounting
• Masters / Post Graduate degree in Business Administration with specialization Finance / Accounting and strategic planning
• Any relevant certification will be an added advantage
• 10 to 12 years of experience in downstream / other industrial engineering projects in a performance management role
• Previous experience in strategic planning, M&A management is preferred
• Previous experience in Qatar / GCC is preferred

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure and validate the data collection on the performance of subsidiary companies, JV’s and projects against the set KPI’s targets and budgets so that the business is aware of anticipated costs / revenues, key areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon
• Provide analysis on the working and progress of the subsidiary companies, JV’S and projects for the quarterly performance review process with the Managing Director, Directorate heads and subsidiary heads
• Ensure relevant risks and issues are highlighted and corrective actions are identified and implemented through various root cause analysis methods
• Set priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives and monitor their development through a data driven approach collected across projects
• Liaison with the management Accounting Section for support on financial data gathering and reporting
