Job description

The Sales Manager is responsible for customer acquisition strategy, serving as a liaison between potential customers and the sales team and will help identify the customers’ business processes, systems and product requirements. Additionally, this role will be key in recommending appropriate solutions and delivering onsite/remote product demonstrations directly tied to closing business and driving revenue.

Role Accountabilities

  • Collaboratively works with assigned Sales Managers to develop an overall territory account plan in order to maximize opportunities and generates sales activity.
  • Achieves/exceeds monthly sales targets and gross profit quota by identifying, prospecting and qualifying new customers and selling through strategic partners in a geographic territory
  • Leads negotiations, coordinates complex decision-making process, and overcomes objections to capture new business opportunities
  • Grows and maintains existing customer and partner relationships in territory by utilizing question based selling methods to ascertain customers’ needs in order to craft relevant solutions
  • Plans marketing related events, seminars, mailings and call campaigns to increase brand awareness and presence in the local market
  • B2B and large account selling skills, cold calling, managing sales funnels, new business generation and prospecting
  • Attend first appointment meetings with clients and Sales Managers to assist in needs analysis and provide constructive feedback
  • Complete weekly funnel review with account executives
  • Work with General Managers to formulate sales production objectives for the individual sales people and the company’s business plan
  • Effectively cross-sell opportunities with other Bridge Vue products and services

Qualifications, Education Requirements & Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong commercial experience within the travel technology/travel agency space
  • At least 3+ years’ experience in Sales Manager or Business Development Manager role in GCC
  • Good travel trade knowledge of the MENA region, Arabic speaking is an added advantage
  • Experience in mentoring or managing account executives
  • Experience in Solution Selling techniques with an emphasis on strong account management
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
  • Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with high-level executives
  • Highly motivated and results oriented
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment with minimum supervision
