Internal Trainer - Retail Banking Products & Services

Job description

  • Lead the Design, Delivery, Assessment and Development of the banks customized training solutions specifically (Consumer Banking Products & Services Proposition related programs) for the identified roles in Retail Banking.
  • Lead the Design, Delivery, Assessment, Development and Evaluation of the best in class customized training workshops, specifically “Consumer Banking Products & Services” for the roles identified by the business.
  • Liaise with the Products Managers to ensure the retail banking products and services training material/Policy/Procedure are updated on a regular basis.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with the Group Talent training policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Leverage internal ‘subject matter experts’ to customize course offerings
  • Work / liaise with Academy staff to manage the delivery of the related “Consumer Banking Products & Services” programs including zoning etc. to maximize attendance and minimize disruption to the business.
  • Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of all training programs to maximize revenue goals and improve staff development.
  • Conduct on and offsite training for general employee and management groups to maximize business performance.
  • Contribute to the deployment of the Group Talent Strategy including Technical Talent & Career Development programs etc.
  • Responsible for providing dashboard information/reports on monthly basis through the planning and quality team
  • Ensure training records/data base are maintained and updated on regular basis and produce reports for management.
  • Promote network and collaboration (knowledge management, best in class practices on learning & development management)

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Post Graduate in banking, finance, business, education or related field
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years experience in the Consumer Banking/Retail domain within banking.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English & Arabic
  • Presentation skills including the ability to present to Senior Managers and large audience
  • Expert in Learning & development systems and tools
  • Professional with MS - Office tools
