Job Summary
Responsible for the quality and integrity of the system master data for all Finance objects such as Organization Hierarchy, GL mapping, Suppliers, Customers… and relevant system list of authorized values.
Responsible for ensuring the creation and/or update of Finance master data is timely and accurate in a manner that supports the business requirements and according to Master Data governance rules.

Main Responsibilities
» Communicate on Finance Master Data management Group practice based on the principles of MDM governance rules, and ensure strong compliance from all data custodians across the Group
» Develop a strong working relationship with all data experts and data owners involved in master data governance, ensuring their timely and qualitative involvement
» Manage and develop a solid finance data creation team able to understand, execute and escalate concerns on all aspects of finance master data management; recommend own team optimization schemes (structure, number of resources, additional skills…) to respond adequately to business needs
» Take end-to-end ownership of all finance data objects creation and update, and drive all master data related activities within this object scope.
» Coordinate across the Business on all the finance master data related requirements.
» Analyse all the requests for change having direct or indirect impact on established finance master data rules or processes, and propose recommendations for further validation
» Analyse and make recommendation for all change requests related to the MDM Finance data models or processes.
» Track and improve performance indicators on creation/update activity as well as issues solutions by developing scorecards based on best practice data management metrics.
» Identify improvement opportunities on the current Finance master MDM governance processes
» Produce and control a clear documentation on Finance Master Data creation/maintenance processes as well as list of all stakeholders assigned across business.
Migration Activities
» Ensure Finance master data cleansing and migration activities are happening as per a coherent and comprehensive workplan agreed with Data migration team
» Working closely with data migration analyst for timely delivery of data cleansing, testing data migration procedures, support system integration testing and final cutover before go-live; standardisation of Master Data; post go-live data management
Desired Skills and Experience
» Excellent data gathering and analysis skills/advanced Excel skills.
» Candidates must possess a good understanding of Finance data structure, GL and impacts on finance reporting
» In-depth knowledge and understanding of methodology and importance of data harmonization.
» Excellent Organization skills and respect of the deadlines.
» Excellent communication skills - in particular with stakeholders at all levels
» Experience in understanding and documenting finance business requirements and data needed.
