Key Accountabilities

  • To undertake Contract/Tender review to establish work scope required for Group companies in UAE, Yemen and Iraq.
  • To oversee the effective running of projects to ensure they meet client and contract requirements, including budget.
  • To communicate with clients\customers resolving any issues or queries relating to the contract management in a timely and professional manner.
  • To highlight changes and variations to the project at the earliest opportunity, including appropriate cost implications and changes to programme.
  • To ensure the Management team is fully aware of any changes to project scope or contract programmes, to ensure that appropriate variances charges, labour reallocation, etc can be implemented.
  • To detail and issue the sub contract process for, ensuring quality, delivery and budget expectations are achieved.
  • To provide as required, accurate project reports on the progress and financial performance.
  • To undertake internal documentation as required.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Civil or Electrical or Process Engineering)
  • 10 to 15 years experience in similar role.
  • Previous experience in EPC contracting or Oilfield construction preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to work sites and client locations as required.
  • Familiarity with Quantity take-off/Quantity survey preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Arabic language is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with FIDIC is an added advantage.
