Murex Functional Analyst-Banking

Job Details

Translation of business requirements from internal stakeholders in high quality functional specifications.
Gap analysis between the business requirements and the existing business applications/processes.
Validation of the implemented solution against the functional specifications to ensure that the project matches the business requirements.
Provide robust functional design as aligned with the business requirements.
Walkthrough of functional requirements to the business and technology stakeholders.
Functional analysis of business requirements by identifying potential problems and proposing solutions.
Ensure the completeness of the business requirements and add value by proposing best-in-class solutions.
Provide requirement clarity to IT Developers to avoid gaps in delivery.

Requirements

Knowledge & Experience:
Extensive IT functional experience (8 years or more) in Murex product, with in-depth knowledge of limit and collateral management.
Knowledge/experience of/with testing processes.
Experience in business process modeling tools (e.g. UML), information architecture (wireframes etc).
User interface knowledge. Skills:
Working experience of retail and corporate limit structures and limit operations in a bank or financial institution.
Prior experience of functional mapping exercise for data migration in Murex Limit Controller (MLC) from legacy systems.
Should have performed risk static data baseline exercise and setups related to risk configuration, risk schemes.
Strong know-how in integration of MLC to accounting, document management, reporting and ancillary systems.
Good understanding of accounting especially related to treasury.
Detailed knowledge on Murex APIs (such as Pre Deal Check, Limit Authorization Service).
Strong Knowhow on Risk types for Banking and Trading Books, Facility Aggregation.
Strong grip on MLC Workflows - counterparty, limits, document Management, collateral and facility.
Been part of the various stages of project lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, build/configuration, testing and roll out.
Prior experience in conducting Integration / design workshops.
Integration/interfacing experience.
Reporting, esp. Murex datamart.
Eagerness to contribute beyond call of duty.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and willing to go the extra miles to meet the project timelines/goals.
Well organized with attention to detail.
Strong team player.
