Intertruck MENA is looking for an ACCOUNTANT!
YOUR TASKS:
- Maintaining all the financial records of the company, including ledger and all sub-ledgers like debtors, creditors and fixed assets;
- Preparing monthly reports to HQ;
- Preparing annual budgets;
- Preparing quarterly forecasts;
- Preparing various reports and reports on request;
- Contact with banks;
- Preparing the year end closing and working with the external auditors;
- Continuous active monitoring of payments from customers;
- Stock level monitoring in close cooperation with product management, sales department and logistics.
YOUR BACKGROUND:
- Proven finalized education as an Accountant. Not a simple course or training, but a solid education. Preferably in a country with an Anglo background;
- Proven experience working in small to medium sized companies. Working in a large company provides security and the possibility to keep a low profile. There is always somebody more responsible than you;
- Hands-on mentality. The job is build around a number of obvious tasks and duties. However, completing these tasks and duties not automatically mean that you have done a great job. You need to look beyond your own desk and computer. It is about adding value to the company, and feeling responsible for everything that goes around;
- Speaking and writing in English is not a problem for you. But also be able to make clear what you are trying to get across;
- Strong communication skills, meaning that you constantly need to communicate with customers, suppliers and staff. You are not a boss, all employees are equal. You must be able to build relationships by coaching and helping others;
- Listening to others is crucial. Full stop;
- Comfortable with ICT as this company is moving towards more a professional ICT structure. It is not just accepting the system does, but we are looking for an active approach. Be willing to spend extra hours to understand the systems;
- Time management is essential as you will have a lot on your plate. You must be able to judge which tasks are important and which have priority;
- Processes in the company are constantly developing. You need to work on improving the current processes all the time, and an active attitude is expected from you.
