Dubai is going to hold its first ever ‘Party in the Park’ musical event. It will be biggest and largest music and entertainment event. Many artists have been confirmed to be performing in this event. Among others , lead singer and Verve founder Richard Ashcroft has been confirmed to be part of the amazing line up for the party in the Park event.
The show has been decided to be held in Dubai Media City Amphitheater on November 14. Richard who is 43 years old will be performing among other artists. Lily Allen will also be joining Richard in the first ever Party in the Park next moth. The South African fusion band Freshlyground will also be performing in the main event.
Richard Ashcroft is a singer-songwriter and Britpop icon. He became successful in the 90’s and rocketed to flame then. He was the lead singer of Th Verve band. The bands famous song ‘ Sweet Symphony’ became a massive hit. The violin-led track became a huge success in 1997. The band broke in 1999. After the split, Ashcroft released a hit solo music album, ‘Alone with Everybody’. The album was a huge hit, which reached the number one spot in UK. The artist won the Novello award for the hit song.
His talent has won a lot of respect for him and got him lot of hit singles. Even his peers praise him a lot. Chris Martin, the front man of Coldplay has been described him as “the best singer in the world”.
The show will kick off at 2pm and continue till midnight. The show will also be first of its kind to feature the famous Dubai brunch deck. The show will be hosted by Mcgettigan’s with prime viewing position of the main stage. Guests can also expect a lot of food and drinks at the event. Dance troupes, pop- up village and other brand activation to keep them entertained throughout the event.
There will also be a Hype Clubhouse sponsored by Adidas at the What’s On main stage. The clubhouse event will showcase many international DJs. Some of the DJs performing at the main event include Superheroes, pacha and Marlin. It is promised to be one of a kind event. The event is to celebrate What’s on magazine’s 35th anniversary.
The tickets for the event can be easily brought and are readily available at www.platinumlist.net. The prices vary from Dh295 for an early bird reservation to Dh 1000 for VIP tickets. Brunch tickets are priced at DH 650.
