Job description
Purpose & Scope of the Job:
Perform analysis of perfume in market samples for Central Asia, Middle East and Africa region (CAMEA) including sample preparation, data treatment and analytical schema transcription. Lead analytical schema projects for perfumers and exchange of results with perfumers. Translate analysis into schema for perfumers in Dubai. Set-up projects priority and analysis level with perfumers & CFD. Support GC/MS instrumentation: running of GC/MS laboratory, instrument maintenance for result reliability and interface with Centers of Excellence.
Education & Knowledge:
- Chemistry or analytical degree (BsC minimum, master possible)
- Knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation / Gas Chromatography (GC/FID, GC/MS)
- Use of chemometric tools for interpretation of analytical results
- English needed, French would be a plus
- Computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sphinx)
Experience:
- Ideally experienced in a R&D analytical department (minimum 6 months)
- Experience in Flavour & Fragrances industry is a plus
- Strong communication skills prerequisite
