All the star cast of Farah Khan’s latest Diwali’s extravaganza, “Happy New Year” flew out to Dubai for their movie preview here this week. The star cast includes Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Abhishek Bachchan. They all flew out on a private charter on Wednesday to promote their movie. The movie also launches Naseeruddin Shah’s Son Vivaan Shah for the first time in the multi starrer movie. It was an amazing event at the multiplex that makes for a great Diwali release.
The multiplex was converted into a big ballroom to hold the premier event. Atlantis, the palm, was the venue of the premier cum party. The place hosted the great event and gave a warm welcome to the VIP hosts. Guests appreciated the venue. The multiplex has a screen size four times larger than a regular movie screen.
The sound system was flown in by Happy New Year team and added sparks to the big day. The ballroom got a new Sound System installed. Shahrukh Khan being the producer of the film made special arrangements for the day. He wanted to make sure the sound system goes well with the large screen. Making the preview a larger than life event.
Shahrukh Khan also made special arrangements for the Red Carpet. He asked Naresh Rohira to make special back suits for the men with special bronze designs on the shoulder.
Lalit Modi also flew out from London for the event. Their were also many friends and family of Shahrukh Khan. The event began on time and ended before midnight. A source also recalls Shahrukh Khan welcoming guests him selves. After the movie their was an after party at Shahrukh’s suite. The real fun began then. “The movie was a great cinematic experience and the party better”, a source said. The source also added that the after party started just before dawn and was shifted to 20,000 sft suite. The party started just after the movie premier event wrapped up.
Only selected people were invited by Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan. They both made sure everyone who came to their event was welcomed and had fun. The return tickets were booked for Mumbai immediately for everyone. But everyone was more interested to continue partying, they all pushed back their trip back for the afternoon.
All the crew and cast had great fun at Shahrukh Khan made it happen. The Happy New Year party was great and all had great fun. The entire filmmaking team was present at the event. Jackie Shroff, Irshad Kamil, Mayur Puri and the music director Vishal- Shekhar also attended the event. Boman Irani and Sonu Sood and their wife was present with their wives on the red carpet.
