Job description
- Develop and maintain strong ties with Middle East based media. Insure maximum media coverage for desired brands / products / projects and quality media participation to events.
- Create original English press release copy.
- Develop and implement creative and measurable social media programs and campaigns for given brands / products / projects / events.
- Ad hoc copy writing projects – articles, campaigns, brochures, newsletters, case studies, blog posts, web pages, internal communications, proof reading.
- The person works closely with the Cheif Creative officer, Account director and creative team to conceptualize and refine creative campaign ideas, effectively communicate the objectives, and transform abstract ideas into clear, explicitly compelling copy.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Degree and/or experience in new media, journalism, PR or marketing.
- Well-presented and well-spoken.
- Knowledge of copy-writing, creative and able to alter style of writing to reflect the audience.
- Precise in the work with a good attention to detail.
- Project management, organizational and conceptual skills.
- Be able to work to tight deadlines, multitask and prioritize work schedules.
- Excellent English communication skills (other languages especially Arabic an advantage).
The role requires an individual that understands the latest trends and is well aware, and can write both long and short content to required word count and brand tone of voice and style.
