Manager - Operational Excellence

This role is to drive efficiency and effectiveness by executing initiatives and projects aligned to ADCB strategy, and provide the bank with expertise in continuous process improvement, project and change management.

Main Responsibilities

Projects:

• Completion of internal medium complexity projects within project time, manpower and budget
• Elicit requirements from business or technical customers and clarify business and user requirements
• Costs/Process/Customer benefits as result of projects
• Effective business impact with low disruption and optimized cost
• Identify improvements to existing solutions and business processes and achieve continuous process improvements through project management using world class methodologies (i.e Lean Six Sigma)
• Negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders
• Perform project management activities i.e. Document / review RFP, functional specifications, User acceptance tests, Service level agreements (SLAs) etc.

Monitoring and Sustainability:

• Liaise with departments to develop, implement and sustain solutions
• Develops and reviews standards and procedures regarding various bank functions i.e. business, credit, transactions etc.
• Ensure improved solutions are sustained in place through implementation of KPI

Operational Excellence/Lean Six Sigma:

• Support Head of Operational Excellence in deploying the initiative across ADCB
• Coach ADCB employees in the LSS methodology and tools and the respective application of these to their project.

Quality:

• Meet all ISO requirements to obtain certification
• Be available and ready to respond to audits
• Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices
