Production Manager | Retail Corporate Office | Dubai

About the role
We are currently looking for a Production Manager to join our dynamic teams at Retail Divisional office to manage and provide a commercial, procurement and production resource for the Retail Store Decelopment Project office/team.

This role will report to Assistant General Manager and involves the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue of standardised tender documents liaising within internal external design agencies,
  • Prepare reports/recommendations for variation claims and final account reconciliation, assist in contractor selection.
  • Manage of AFR procurement function in compliance with AF audit requirements.
  • Line management of the Procurement Manager to ensure that all procurement is in line with AF company policy
  • Manageme of reconciliation of merchandising equipment deliveries against original placed orders
  • Identify and develop AFR approved suppliers for the supply and installation of merchandising equipment in UAE and other regions i.e. KSA
  • Coordinate with brand principles, internal/external design agencies to prequalify suppliers
  • Manage and ensure supplier production delivery/schedules are agreed and met in line with project delivery.
  • Manage build and finish quality of all manufactured items prior to delivery to site

About You
To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills, qualifications and experience :

  • Minimum five years’ experience working in an Interior Design / OS / Project Management/Production Office Environment.
  • A technical degree or equivalent in Design/Qs/Architecture or Civil Engineering..
  • Extensive knowledge of suppliers within the UAE market
  • knowledge and proficiency in the use of design, project management and office software
  • Ability to create accurate standardized tender documentation
  • Commercial awareness when analyzing returned tenders and variation claims
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of work flow process
  • Good organizing skills
  • Deadline oriented
  • Computer literate
  • Flexible attitude
