Operations Manager (Medical Claims)

Job description

Are you an experienced “OPERATIONS MANAGER WORKED IN THE UAE - WITHIN THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY” looking to join a fast-paced, innovative company? If so, we want you to join AccuMed Team in Dubai, UAE.

 

What you’ll be leading:-

 

  • Leading a large operations unit (consisting of Medical Audit, Medical Coding and Data Entry) making sure the desired service levels and TAT’s are met.
  • You will be a leader and mentor— managing the team’s performance, identifying process gapsand working on continuous process improvements & automation to enhance performance to reduce costs and improve service and quality
  • Building and developing good relationships with external health care providers, payers, and healthcare regulators in the UAE

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Reducing the rejection rate through quality and efficiency
  2. Manage the process of revenue cycle management /operational services is in line with documented and defined service standards and current regulatory and compliance practices
  3. Resource capacity, planning, management & build a successful team of highly motivated and quality driven employees through leadership, mentoring, and continuous training, to ensure that the operations team has the right resources to deliver the required level of performance.
  4. Provider all operational performance management information for all internal and external stakeholders
  5. Ensure necessary analytics are performed timely and accurately.
  6. Handle special projects assigned by the line management
  7. Participate in all conferences/seminars/trainings related to Healthcare industry in the UAE.
  8. Develops and participates in presentations to internal and external customers
  9. Develop, build good relationship and work closely with other departments in AccuMed

Desired Skills and Experience

A few desired skills that we will look for in you:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of hierarchy/management etc.
  • Confident personality with good social networking skills within the Health Insurance Industry and outside.
  • Good written/verbal communication skills to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel; ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions.
  • Ability to operate and make timely decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced atmosphere and work in team environment.
  • Strong analytical skill-set and ability to effectively use data for strategy
  • High level of productivity, reliability, responsibility, attendance, dependability, organization and accuracy/thoroughness
  • Ability to take initiative to meet challenges with resourcefulness and new innovative approaches while maintaining a high level of quality
  • Must possess a passion for teamwork, Relationships building and reaching business results through problem solving

 

Education and experience that you should possess:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of work experience in a supervisor operations role in the Health Insurance sector in the UAE.
  • Excellent knowledge of Claims Process management and Billing Management
  • Degree in a medical related field preferred and Master’s degree in Business Administration/Operations.
  • Post graduate degree in Quality Management or Process Engineering would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in process automation and optimization.
