Job description
As Account Manager you will be a product and market expert specialising in the Information Technology and Office Equipment (ITO) industries. Being a logical thinker with a customer focused attitude, and being able to dissect and analyse data to provide actionable fact-based consultancy, you will ensure maintenance and development of the ITO product area, cumulate market and product knowledge, and by doing so effectively sell the company’s services. In this context, you will work closely with the global project teams located in different locations/ countries within GfK.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure high client satisfaction levels are maintained by providing advanced level of client servicing, including relevant tailored reporting, insightful presentations and market consultancy
- Developing a network of key contacts within the IT and Office industry in the Middle East
- Understand clients’ market needs and secure insight solutions to best support requirements
- Responsible for the monthly data production via Quality Checking Project

Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Level Education
- Minimum 2 years experience in Market Research
- Understanding of Retail Panel methodology
- Experienced in Client Account Management providing fact-based consultancy and maximising support
- Strong presentation skills to be able to manage stand-alone client/ retailer and industry sessions
- Knowledge in management of achieving sales target, including ability to forecast and strategize to achieve annual set targets
- Experience in the Middle East region and/or IT/Office Industry is preferable
- Full UAE Driving License
- Proficiency in English
