Job description

The Service Manager’s primary objective is to supervise the day-to-day operations of all Field Service work and to more efficiently manage his/her organization . This includes: Scheduling all field service work in every aspect to completion. A. Quotes B. Parts C. Staffing D. Customer Inspection E. Job Files and Reports F. Outside Services G. Cover Warranty ( FPR ) Work and Support Understanding the capabilities of all field service personnel and provide proper resources for appropriate training to improve same. Assisting field service personnel responsible for reinstallation of refurbished equipment to insure a smooth and trouble free installation and start up. Assist branch personnel with all aspects of OSHA and EPA requirements for field service activities. Assist as needed with administrative details such as field service training, safety meetings, job reports, vacation scheduling and manpower utilization. Monitor expenses for all in-shop requirements including tooling, equipment, and maintenance required to maintain and grow the business. In addition the incumbent will be responsible for the cleanliness, safety and organization of the overhaul shop area and yard for employees and customers, in order to provide tours for the purpose of promoting in-house capabilities for all aspects of the business

Minimum Job Qualifications

This position is responsible for supervising all field service activities. Incumbent is responsible for overseeing direct personnel assigned to the field. Directly assign daily activities on all field service work and projects. Monitor staffing requirements. Coordinate with the designated Parts and Machine Shop personnel to ensure that necessary parts, machine work, services and outside services/vendors are on hand or complete in order to meet the time frame allocated by our Customer’s requirements. Assist as needed with administrative details such as training, safety meetings, job reports, vacation scheduling and manpower utilization. Monitor expenses for all field service requirements including tooling, equipment, and maintenance required to maintain and grow the business. Coordinate with the Operations Manager on effective utilization of manpower for field service requirements. Individual must have a good working knowledge of all NON-OEM and OEM products. 1. Individual with 3 - 5 years of technical experience preferred. 2.Should have similar supervisory experience. 3.Should have good communication and interpersonal skills. Individual must have a good working knowledge of computers and experience in project management skills
