About the department
The Modern Insulin Project Manager will report to the Director of Strategic Operations. The Strategic Operations team will be consisted of Victoza, Tresiba and Ryzodeg Project Manager, Commercial Effectiveness & Business Development Manager, a Business Analyst and an Events Coordinator.
The job
As a Project Manager, your main key responsibilities are to accelerate and support the development of Diabetes business, covering both Modern & Human Insulin in Business Area Gulf, India and Egypt (BAGIE) and to manage and run necessary activities. You will be responsible to contribute to the development and implementation of Insulin portfolio strategy, support launches of MI products in some BAGIE affiliates, support affiliates on MI projects and activities, support the management of business area meetings and symposiums on Insulin products.
In addition to that, you will need to manage business area Insulin resources & optimize allocation to achieve maximum return of investment, follow-up on affiliates’ performance and assist in development of action plans if needed to maximize market shares leadership, support and facilitate training and expansion of Diabetes organization, support the affiliates on business planning & business analysis for products of own responsibility, secure proper understanding of BAGIE markets and establish market potential.
Last but not least, you will need to coordinate projects and communication between Global Marketing, IO Business areas and affiliates as necessary.
Qualifications
You have a graduate degree (Bachelor or Master) in business administration or marketing. You have a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in a pharmaceutical marketing position; experience within Diabetes & Insulin will be considered an asset. You have project management experience within process improvement & implementation and the ability to lead teams. You have strong analytical and numerical skills and you are able to drive complex projects within tight timelines. You are an active team player with good influencing and interpersonal skills. You are fluent in both written and spoken English; Arabic will be considered an asset. You are ready to travel extensively.
