Commercial Specialist

Job description

The job holder is responsible for carrying out commercial, contractual, administrational duties and document management, in order to support the Facility Management Department in achieving its objective of becoming a well organised, ISO compliant function. The Contracts Specialist is also responsible for supporting other activities such as auditing, reviewing and report generation and coordinating with other Facility Management related assets.

Key Accountabilities:

Contracts Management:

  • Develops, maintains and administer a contract(s) document management system compliant with ISO standards
  • Provides interface of Emaar to outside service providers, and liaises with these on queries, collating of documents.
  • Develops standard format for contract documents and associated functions..
  • Maintains contract(s) database to standards set by Commercial Manager. Develops contracts planner from database and organises key contractual events and meetings.

Administration:

  • Provides administrational assistance to Commercial Manager and FM team. Handles calls & queries from internal and external customers.
  • Liaises with key stakeholders within Emaar and provides assistance as required.
  • Represents the Commercial function and/or the FM Department as necessary at key functions and meetings.
  • Deputises for Commercial Manager as and when required.
  • Assists Commercial Manager on key projects, such as development of policies and articles.
  • Complete assigned tasks within given deadlines.
  • Ensure high level of customer service

 

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualification:

  • University / college Degree / Diploma

Experience:

  • At least 3 years experience in a commercial environment or similar.
  • Experience in a similar or role a distinct advantage.

Skills:

  • Sound computer skills in all MS Office packages required.
  • Good knowledge of commercial, clerical and accounting principles.
  • Excellent English Language skills required. Arabic a distinct advantage.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Multitasking
  • Flexibility
